I have been making this recipe since my children were small ..so that is about 42 years or more... yikes! has it been that long... I am really getting old... thank goodness I can still remember it!!

Ingredients For easy skillet pot pie

1 lblean ground beef

1 smonion chopped

1/2 cfrozen peas or 1/2 can, drained

10 ozcan golden mushroom soup

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 tspseasoned salt
-
1/2 tsppepper
-
4 cprepared instant mashed potatoes or leftovers

9 sliceamerican cheese or 3/4 c. shredded cheddar
How To Make easy skillet pot pie

1I use and electric fry pan, you can use stove top skillet. Brown and scramble beef in pan. Drain any fat. Add onion and Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt and pepper, mixing well.

2Stir in undiluted soup.Note: if your store doesn't carry the Golden soup, you can use regular mushroom soup.

3Add the peas. Stir until bubbles form , then reduce heat to simmer.

4Place the prepared mashed potatoes in 6 or 9 mounds;now put the cheese on top of the potatoes Place lid on skillet just long enough to met cheese. Serve with garlic toast and a green salad.
