This is an old Pennsylvania Dutch recipe that my family enjoyed for years. A pleasurable way to serve potatoes.

Ingredients For dutch stewed potatoes

1 Tbspbutter

1 smonion, sliced

2 cdiced raw potatoes

1 tspsalt

1 pinchpepper
-
1-2 tspminced parsley

3/4 cboiling water

1 Tbspwater

2 tspall purpose flour
How To Make dutch stewed potatoes

1Melt butter in a large skillet; add onion slices and cook 5 minutes.

2Add potatoes and a mixture of the salt, pepper and parsley.

3Pour in boiling waterand cook covered until tender, about 20 minutes.

4Blend together the water and flour and stir into skillet. Bring to boiling and cook one to two minutes until thickened.
