Ingredients For country style hashbrown casserole

  • 2 lb
    pkg oreida potatoes o'brien (thawed)
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 stick
    butter (melted)
  • 1 pkg
    shredded velveeta cheese
  • 1 sm
    container of sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • pinch
    black pepper
  • 1 pkg
    crushed ritz or towne house crackers

How To Make country style hashbrown casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray oblong casserole dish.

    Spread thawed potatoes on bottom of casserole dish evenly. Sprinkle salt and pepper over potatoes.

    In a mixing bowl, combine soup, butter and sour cream and mix well. Pour mixture over potatoes.

    Layer shredded cheese over mixture and cover top with crushed crackers.

    Bake for about 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and bubbly. Let set for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
