Ingredients For company potatoes

• 1 can

  cream of mushroom soup
• 2 c

  cheese, shredded
• dash

  salt and pepper (i just eyeball it)
• 1 tsp

  garlic powder
• 1 1/2 c

  sour cream
• or

  (1 1/4 c sour cream and 1/4 cup margerine)
• 2 lb

  hash brown potatoes, (thawed) or you can use the square potatoes that are frozen we use instead most of the time.
• 1/4 c

  chopped onion
