Ingredients For chimichangas

  • 2 to 3 c
    shreded chicken,beff or pork
  • 1/2 c
    each chopped onions,bell pepper,tomato
  • 1/2 c
    fried potatoes ( small cubes)
  • 1/4 c
    any kind cooking oil
  • 1 1/8 tsp
    salt and pepper or to taste, pinch of oregano
  • 2 1/2 c
    shreded monterrey jack
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 pkg
    flour tortillas

How To Make chimichangas

  • 1
    Heat non stick pan add oil,onions,bell pepper,tomato and saute, add meat and potatoes, salt and pepper turn off heat.
  • 2
    heat a gridle and warm tortillas fill with same amount, roll ends first then continue wraping to make a small burrito fry in hot oil, caefull not to burn,drain in brown bag,serve with sour cream, salsa and chesse.
