How To Make cheesy potatoes - mccarthy style
-
1Wash, cut into chunks, and boil potatoes. Time depends on how big of chunks you use. Do not boil them to mushiness, tho.
-
2Drain.
-
3Add all other ingredients to cooked potatoes, EXCEPT shredded cheddar. Mash everything together to a good consistency. (I like my mashed potatoes to be thick and chunky.)
-
4Spread mashed potatoes in a buttered cake pan. Sprinkle with the shredded cheddar.
-
5Bake in a 350 degree oven until heated thru and cheese is melted.
OR
Cover and store in the fridge. Bake in a 350 degree over till warmed and cheese is melted, when you want to eat it.
