Ingredients For cheesy mashed potato bake

6 mdpotatoes, peeled and quartered

1 Tbspsalt

1/4 cbutter, melted

2 Tbspchopped fresh chives

1 csour cream
-
1 cshredded cheddar cheese

2 Tbspcrumbled cooked bacon, divided

1/2 cFrench's fried onions
How To Make cheesy mashed potato bake

1Place the potatoes in a 3-quart saucepan. Cover with cold water. Add 1 Tbsp salt. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Cook for 20 minutes or until fork tender. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2Drain and mash potatoes. Add butter, chives, and sour cream. Mix well.

3Add the cheese and half of the bacon. Mix well.

4Spread into an 8x8 pan. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.

5Add the fried onions and the last of the bacon bits. Bake for another 5 minutes.
