these potatoes are a guilty pleasure food for sure but oh so good! i am asked every Thanksgiving to make them for the family and there is never any left! hope your family enjoys them as much as mine!

Ingredients For cheesey scallopped potatoes

  • 5 lbs
    potatoes cut and pealed
  • lg block
    velveta cheese
  • 1 box
    ritz crackers
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • milk

How To Make cheesey scallopped potatoes

    cut and peal potatoes boil them for about 10 minutes, in the bottom of a 9x13 pan butter completely, add half potatoes, salt and pepper to taste. i put spoon fulls of butter every few inches on top potatoes, slice velveta and cover layer of potatoes and butter with the slices of cheese, crush 1 1/2 of the strips of ritz crackers and cover cheese completely, repeat steps, once you have all your ingredients in the pan pour milk over dish till you can see it on the sides bake on 350 for about an hour and 20 minutes till bubbly and hot
