Ingredients For candied sweet potatoes

2 lbsweet potatoes--about six medium

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

3 Tbspbutter

1/2 tspsalt
How To Make candied sweet potatoes

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash sweet potatoes and then poke with a knife for steam to escape while baking

2Bake potatoes for about one hour or until soft.

3Scoop out the insides of the baked potatoes and mash.

4Combine brown sugar, butter and salt and cook over medium heat until smooth and bubbly. Then stir the mixture into the potatoes.
