When our kids were teenagers, we hosted an Easter Breakfast in our backyard each year after sunrise mass. One year there were 60 people! This recipe was a big hit.

Ingredients For baked hashbrowns

1 - 2#bag frozen hash-browns

1 cancream of chicken soup

1 stickmargarine

1 1/2 ccheddar cheese, grated

1 - 8ozcontainer sour cream

1/3 cgrated onion

1 ccornflake crumbs

2 Tbspmargarine, melted
How To Make baked hashbrowns

1Cover greased 9x13 baking pan with frozen hash-browns. Combine soup, margarine (stick), cheese, sour cream and onion in saucepan. Heat until blended.

2Pour over hash-browns. Combine cornflake crumbs with melted margarine (2T). Spread cornflake mixture on top of hash-brown mixture.

3Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes until brown on top.
