Ingredients For baked cheddar hashbrowns

  • 1 bag
    frozen hashbrowns thawed
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    green onions chopped
  • 2 c
    white cheddar cheese shredded
  • salt and white pepper
  • 1
    10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c
    panko breadcrumbs

How To Make baked cheddar hashbrowns

  • 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine the hashbrowns with 4 tbsp melted butter, sour cream, green onions, half the cheese and half the can of cream of chicken soup. Save the remaining soup for another use.

    Transfer to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese. Mix the panko with the remaining melted butter

    Sprinkle on the top of the hashbrowns. Cover with foil and bake about 40 minutes.Uncover and bake until top is browned. 5 more minutes
