I created a perfect recipe for the people in Wisconsin. It is a lasagna recipe filled with kinds of Wisconsin cheeses. For side dishes, it's great with grilled steak, baked, fried, or rotisserie chicken, spare ribs, salmon, and even pork chops.

12lasagna noodles

1 cwhipped cream cheese

16 ozricotta cheese

2 Tbspchopped parsley

4 Tbspcrushed sun-dried tomatoes

1 3/4 cshredded Parmesan cheese, divided

2 cshredded pepper jack cheese

1 ccrumbled blue cheese
- FOUR CHEESE SAUCE

1 1/2 ccold heavy cream
-
1/2 cmargarine
-
3/4 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese
-
3/4 cshredded Monterey Jack cheese
-
3/4 cshredded mozzarella cheese
-
3/4 cgrated Parmesan cheese
How To Make wisconsin lasagna

1Add cubed processed American cheese in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles and rinse with cold water.

3In a medium mixing bowl, combine whipped cream cheese, ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, crushed sun-dried tomatoes, and 1 cup Parmesan cheese. Mix well.

4To make Four Cheese Sauce: in a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream and margarine. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Gradually stir in shredded sharp cheddar, Monterey jack cheese, mozzarella cheese, and grated parmesan cheese. Reduce heat to low and continue to stir just until all cheese is melted.

5Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

6Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over American cheese cubes. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Spoon 1 1/2 cups cheese sauce over the ricotta cheese mixture and sprinkle with shredded pepperjack cheese.Repeat layers, and top with crumbled blue cheese and remaining shredded parmesan cheese. Cover with foil.

7Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
