Ingredients For three cheese noodle casserole

  • 8 cups medium egg noodles
  • 1/4 lb. (1/2 cup) butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 t. dry mustard
  • salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 t. worcestershire
  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese (1/2 lb)
  • 1 cup (1/4 lb) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish

How To Make three cheese noodle casserole

  • 1
    Cook noodles as pkg. directs. Drain and rinse with cold water;

    melt butter in large pan over low heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in flour, mustard, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Gradually stir in milk; bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 1 minute. Stir constantly.

    Add cheese, stir constantly over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melt. Add noodles and nuts. Toss turn into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with parsley and bake in 350 oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 8 Source: My Old Recipes
