Kugel is another name for a pudding. Many kugels are made with cheese, this one is not, but it is always requested. It can be served as a side with meat or poultry or eaten as dessert.

Ingredients For peachy noodle kugel

  • 1 lg
    can of peach halves, in light syrup
  • 1 pt
    coffee rich
  • 2 1/2-3 c
    sugar
  • 1 pkg
    medium egg noodles, 16 oz.
  • 8 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make peachy noodle kugel

    Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2
    Boil egg noodles 7 minutes, and drain 3/4 of the way.

    Drain peach juice into noodles.

    Add coffee rich, sugar, salt & vanilla. Beat in eggs. Spray a large deep baking pan with pam.

    Noodles should be swimming in liquid. Place on peaches on top. Garnish with maraschino cherries.

    Bake at 375 for 1 hour or longer till solid.
