Only 3 ingredients but so tasty! My mom used to make this when I was little and it was always my favorite. It's like mac and cheese with a twist!

Ingredients For noodle casserole

  • 1 pkg
    egg noodles, standard size, cooked and drained
  • 1-2 can
    tomato soup
  • 1-2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 slice
    bacon (optional)

How To Make noodle casserole

    You can assemble this one of two ways; My mom did it layer by layer. IE; noodles, soup, cheese, in however many layers it takes. I just mix it all together and put it in the baking dish. Either way, it comes out the same, YUMMY!!! I will give you my version.

    Cook and drain the noodles. In a large bowl, mix noodles, cheese and tomato soup. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. For added flavor I like to place about 3 strips of bacon on top.

    As far as cook time goes, I put 30 minutes but I actually go by the look. If the bacon is done and the cheese is bubbly and it's starting to look a bit brown and crusty on top then it's done.

    For a change, try different kinds of pasta and mix up your cheeses. The shredded Fiesta Blend is good. I would think a tomato/basil soup would give it a different taste too.
