Ingredients For miso-buttered noodles with mushrooms and onions

  • 8 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 8 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 md
    onion diced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 8 oz
    shiitake mushrooms sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    white miso paste
  • 1/4 c
    fresh basil chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes

How To Make miso-buttered noodles with mushrooms and onions

    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook until al dente. Drain reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

    Add 4 tbsp butter to large skillet. Add the onion, garlic and mushrooms. Saute until onions are softened and mushrooms browned. Add the remaining butter.

    Add the Miso paste and the reserved pasta water. Cook until thickened. Add the pasta Stir until pasta is coated with the sauce. Top with Basil and sprinkle with Red Pepper flakes
