I can already hear the boo's about this not being a real recipe because it starts with a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese. I will just say now that you can't convince myself, my son or my mom who just so happens to be the worlds greatest cook that this isn't a wonderful side dish. Heck, my son will polish off the whole box in one sitting. Mom used to make this with salmon patties (yuck) and it's the only reason I could get them down. I have made it the 20 years of my sons life and it's the only way he wants his Kraft Mac and cheese. Give it a try. It really is a wonderful side dish.
