Macaroni salad is a type of pasta salad. It's served cold, made with cooked elbow macaroni and usually prepared with mayonnaise.

Ingredients For macaroni salad

  • 1200 g
    water
  • 200 g
    macaroni (approx 10 mins cooking time)
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2
    hard-boiled eggs, cut in pieces
  • 120 g
    mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 30 g
    lime juice
  • 40 g
    red onion, chopped
  • 80 g
    red pepper, cut in small pieces
  • 20 g
    pickled cucumber, cut in small pieces

How To Make macaroni salad

    Insert slow cook plug, place water into mixing bowl.

    Heat 10 mins/100°C/speed 1.

    Add macaroni and salt into mixing bowl.

    Cook 10 mins/100°C/speed 1.

    Place hard-boiled eggs, salt, mayonnaise, yellow mustard and lime juice into mixing bowl.

    Mix 20 sec/speed 4.

    Pour the sauce onto the cooked macaroni, and mix with red onion, red pepper and pickled cucumber.

    Transfer to the serving plate and serve.
