There is nothing like a good portion of this dish to round out any meal. Even better when prepared with fresh tomatoes out of the garden in summer!

Ingredients For macaroni and tomatoes

2 celbow macaroni, cooked

1 can14.5 oz. petite diced tomatoes

1 can14.5 oz. whole tomatoes in juice

1 Tbspbacon grease (can add more)

1/2 tsppepper

salt to taste
How To Make macaroni and tomatoes

1Prepare macaroni in boiling, salted water according to package direction. Drain

2Return pasta to cooking pot and add the diced tomatoes. Break up the whole tomatoes in juice and add to pot.

3Add bacon grease, salt and pepper. Stir together well and simmer for about 15 minutes.
