Ingredients For macaroni and cheese casserole

16 ozelbow macaroni

1 lbcheddar cheese, grated

8 ozmonterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers, grated

1 tspsalt

1 tspblack pepper

1 tspdry mustard

1/2 stickbutter

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1egg, beaten
-
5 ozevaporated milk
How To Make macaroni and cheese casserole

1Boil macaroni in salted water, al dente (about 6 minutes). Drain, do not rinse.

2Add butter and cream cheese, 8 ounces grated cheddar cheese, and grated pepper jack cheese. Combine until cheeses are melted.

3Combine salt, pepper, dry mustard into a beaten egg. Temper the egg by adding a teaspoon of the hot mixture to the egg and stirring. Add to the macaroni mixture.

4Pour into a greased casserole dish. Pour the evaporated milk of the casserole and let soak in. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
