Ingredients For linguine with mushroom parsley sauce

  • 8 oz
    linguine
  • salt
  • SAUCE
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 lb
    mushrooms chopped
  • 1 c
    fresh parsley chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 c
    dry white wine
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    shredded grana padano cheese or parmesan

How To Make linguine with mushroom parsley sauce

    Place linguine in boiling salted water and cook until almost al dente. Drain reserving 1/2 cup pasta water
  • 2
    For the sauce Add the butter to saucepan. When the butter is melted add the garlic and mushrooms. Saute for about 3 minutes. Add the parsley. Cook 2 more minutes.

    Add the wine and let reduce by half. Add the cream and cheese. Add the pasta water and linguine. Cook about 3 minutes. Taste and add salt and pepper.
