1In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef in oil and cook onion and garlic until tender, but not brown. Add to sauce..

2Sauce: Stir in tomatoes with liquid, pasta sauce , sugar, basil, oregano, salt and pepper; heat to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring to break up tomatoes, 15 to 20 minutes.,

3Prepare pasta; drain. Toss cooked pasta with sauce and place in 3 quart casserole.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.
