My family really loves this pasta salad. It is mighty tasty. I make this as a side dish for many different meals. It's is a great salad anytime of the year. It's not just for summer cookouts. If making for a crowd..just double... I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do..

Ingredients For ham pasta salad

8 ozpasta of choice
-
4 Tbspwhite wine vinegar, i have used red also

2 Tbspdijon mustard
-
2/3 cextra virgin olive oil
-
2/3 csour cream
-
1/2 cred onion, minced
-
6 ozcooked ham, diced small
-
3/4 cfrozen baby peas, thawed
-
2ribs celery, diced
-
1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
-
2hard boiled eggs, chopped
-
2 Tbspfresh dill, chopped..i have used dried dill

2 Tbspmilk
-
2 tspsalt
-
pepper to taste
How To Make ham pasta salad

1Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain well and let cool slightly. Transfer to a large bowl.

2In a small bowl, combine the vinegar and mustard. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking.

3Whisk in the sour cream and season with 2 teaspoons salt and pepper, to taste.

4Add the onion, ham, peas, celery, cheese, eggs and dill to the pasta and mix. Add in the dressing and stir to coat the pasta. Season with more salt and pepper as desired. ** I have used Turkey, Tuna, Salami, Pepperoni to this before..all are delicious!
