Ingredients For fettuccine with lemon

  • 8 oz
    fettuccine
  • 1 sm
    onion chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • zest and juice of 2 lemons
  • 8 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    freshly grated pecorino romano
  • salt and ground black pepper

How To Make fettuccine with lemon

    Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente
  • 2
    Meanwhile add some oil to a skillet and cook the onion and garlic until softened. Add the red pepper flakes and lemon juice and zest. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minutes
  • 3
    Remove from heat and stir in the butter and season with salt.

    Drain the pasta and place back in pan. Add the lemon mixture and Pecorino Roman cheese. Mix well and serve sprinkled with pepper
