Ingredients For fettuccine w butternut squash mushroom cream sauce

  • 1 md
    butternut squash cooked and mashed
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 md
    onion diced
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 8 oz
    fresh mushroom sliced
  • 1 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz
    fettuccine pasta cooked and drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh or dried sage

How To Make fettuccine w butternut squash mushroom cream sauce

  • 1
    Melt the butter in a large saute pan. Saute the onion and mushrooms over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 3 minutes.

    Add the squash, chicken broth, and cream. Bring to a simmer and cook stirring until reduced a bit. Add the parmesan cheese and stir and cook until melted.

    Add the fettuccine tossing to coat well. Top with fresh or dried sage
