Ingredients For creamy tomato orzo

4 cwater
-
2 tspchicken better than bouillon (or 2 bouillon cube)

1 cdry orzo

2 Tbspbutter
-
1 Tbsptomato paste
-
1/4 chalf and half
-
2 tspdried basil
-
2 tspdried parsley
-
salt and pepper, to taste
-
1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese (not the green can stuff)
How To Make creamy tomato orzo

1Bring water and bouillon to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir in orzo and return to a boil. Reduce heat slightly and cook 15 minutes, or until orzo is done. Drain excess liquid, if needed. Return to pan

2Stir in butter, tomato paste, cream, basil and parsley. Bring back to temperature. Season with salt and pepper.

3Just before serving, stir in parmesan cheese.
