Making this sauce in the blender, was something I found on the internet. As I was preparing the original recipe, I found myself changing things as I went along. More heavy cream, more Parmesan cheese, less garlic, heating on top of the stove, and then thickening the sauce. It turned out awesome! A real winner!

Ingredients For creamy alfredo sauce

2 cheavy cream

1 cfreshly grated parmesan cheese (this makes a difference)

2 clovegarlic, pressed

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1 Tbspbutter, softened

1 Tbspflour
How To Make creamy alfredo sauce

1Place the first 5 ingredients in a blender. Puree until the mixture thickens.

2In a separate bowl, mix the flour and butter together, and make a paste. (a raw roux)

3Place the pureed ingredients in a sauce pan, and start to warm gently, it will thin down quite a bit. Bring to a little simmer.

4Now to thicken your Alfredo Sauce, add the butter/flour paste. Whisk together, until totally blended. Simmer lightly, until thickened.

5Serve over your favorite type of pasta!
