Ingredients For cashew noodles

8 ozdry medium egg noodles

2 Tbspbutter

1 1/2 csmall curd cottage cheese

8 ozcarton sour cream

1/2 cfresh mushrooms, chopped

1/2 ccashew halves
-
1/4 cgreen onions, chopped

2 Tbspdry sherry
-
1 Tbspsoy sauce
-
1 clovegarlic, minced
-
1/8 tspground red pepper
-
1/2 cromano cheese, grated
How To Make cashew noodles

1Cook noodles according to the package directions; drain well. Combine the noodles and butter in a large bowl, stirring gently until the butter melts. Set aside.

2Combine the cottage cheese and next 8 ingredients in a medium bowl, stir well. Add the cottage cheese mixture to the noodle mixture; toss gently.

3Pour into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with Romano cheese. Bake uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
