baked macaroni & cheese

I first recieved this recipe from a friend down in Florida who would always take it to church functions. Everyone, including my children, would rave about it. I have changed it slightly to lower some of the fat. This would be a great recipe to sneak vegetables into, like chopped cauliflower.

Ingredients For baked macaroni & cheese

8 ozwhole wheat macaroni, cooked & drained

1/2 clight sour cream
-
1 ccottage cheese, lowfat
-
3 Tbspbutter, melted
-
1-2eggs
-
3 ccheddar cheese or cheese blend of choice

1/2 cmilk (optional)

salt & pepper to taste
How To Make baked macaroni & cheese

1Combine sour cream, cottage cheese & egg(s) along with salt & pepper to taste.

2Add all but 1 cup of cheese & cooked macaroni to mixture.

3Add the optional milk.

4Place into greased casserole dish.

5Sprinkle on the remaining 1 cup of cheese.

6Bake at 350' until golden.
