Ingredients For baked macaroni and cheese

  • 4 qt
    water, boiling
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1 box
    macaroni and cheese
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make baked macaroni and cheese

    Turn oven onto 350 degrees. Boil water with oil and 1/2 stick of butter. Add in macaroni. Cook until done. Drain.

    Put macaroni back into pot, stir in remaining butter until melted. Stir in cheese sauce and milk until well coated.

    Put 1/2 of macaroni and cheese mix into a casserole dish. Layer with 1/2 cup of cheese. Add remaining macaroni and cheese mixture. Top with remaining cheese.

    Put in oven until the cheese turns a crispy golden brown and bubbly (About 30-45 minutes). Let sit for 10 minutes to cool.
