Ingredients For baked mac & cheese

  • 1-8 oz
    macaroni, elbow
  • 2 c
    grated 4 cheese blend
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    milk, 1%
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper

How To Make baked mac & cheese

    Preheat oven 375. Cook Mac. as directed-then drain. In 1 1/2 quart bake dish, alternate mac & cheese. Set aside.

    Prepare sauce: Melt butter in med. sauce pan. Remove from heat. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk, then seasonings. Place back on med heat and bring to a boil. Stir and boil 1 minute.

    Pour sauce over mac & cheese. Bake 15/20 minutes. until cheese is melted and very lighly browned.
