I got this recipe from a friend a few years back. It's a favorite around our house. This recipe is for a 13x9 pan but you can always half the recipe as this makes a lot!

Ingredients For baked 4 cheese mac & cheese

16 ozmacaroni, elbow

1 pthalf and half
-
1 ptheavy whipping cream

8 ozmild cheddar; shredded

8 ozsharp cheddar; shredded

8 ozcolby/jack; shredded

3/4 stickbutter
-
salt to taste
-
black pepper to taste
-
cayenne pepper
-
paprika
How To Make baked 4 cheese mac & cheese

1cook noodles until done and drain

2mix noodles, butter, half and half, whipping cream, salt, black pepper, and 3/4 of each cheese in a bowl. (may not need the whole pint of half and half and whipping cream - don't want it to be runny)

3pour into a greased 13x9 pan and top with remaining cheese, cayenne and paprika

4bake in a 350 oven for 20 minutes. Check with a fork in the center and if liquid is still in the center, put back in the oven for another 10 mins checking again after 5.
