Ingredients For taco salad shells

  • TOOLS: USE A DEEP FRYER, AND SOUP LADLE, (WORKS BEST)
  • 1 doz
    tortillas, corn or flour
  • oil for deep frying (vegetable)

How To Make taco salad shells

    Heat oil in deep fryer to 375.

    TIP: I use a Soup ladle. Place one Tortillas into oil, place your ladle in center of tortilla while frying.(hold tortilla under oil) til golden brown & crispy. Fry till golden brn and crisp.

    Remove from oil; Drain on paper bags or paper towels. will keep fresh for about 3-4 days.

    TIP:/ HINT: For "MINI TORTILLLA SHELLS", Cut tortilla shells with Pizza cutter, in 3-5" rounds. (I use a saucer as a templet or sm bowl. use smaller soup ladle to hold tortillas under the oil while frying and you have just made mini taco salad shells. Can use as apetizers or Great for Tailgate parties,Fill with your Usual ingredients of your choice. . . fun to make.! use your imaginations. Hint: can also fill with fruits, or puddings add whip toppings as a dessert.

    TIP: Don't waste the cut tortillas. deep fry them, drain, and immediately sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, & drizzle with honey. enjoy.
