As I was leafing through my newest Taste of Home magazine, I came across this yummy looking bean recipe. They are made in a slow cooker too. The author of the recipe said you can also use these beans for dipping tortilla chips. With football season, and parties upon us, I thought I would share this recipe. I will be trying it soon. Ingredients For sweet & spicy beans

1 - 16 ozcan kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 - 15 1/4 ozwhole kernal corn, drained

1 - 15 ozcan garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained

1 - 15 ozcan black beans, rinsed and drained

1 - 15 ozcan chili with beans

1 cbarbeque sauce
-
1 csalsa
-
1/3 cpacked brown sugar
-
1/4 tsphot pepper sauce
-
chopped green onions ( optional )
How To Make sweet & spicy beans

1In a 4 or 5 quart slow cooker, combine the first 9 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 5 - 6 hours. Top with green onions if desired
