Ingredients For stewed cannellini beans

  • 1 can
    stewed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 2 can
    cannellini beans, drained (15 oz each)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    colatura (optional but recommended)
  • 2 tsp
    ground coriander
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 c
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • olive oil, for drizzling

How To Make stewed cannellini beans

  • 1
    Add the can of stewed tomatoes to a food processor and process until smooth or as smooth as it can be. Pour into a Dutch oven.

    Add the remaining ingredients except parsley and olive oil.

    Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in the parsley and serve with a little olive oil drizzle.
