Nothing beats good ole Southern Corn bread Dressing for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners. I never knew what "stuffing" even was until I was much older. Growing up it was always my Granny's Dressing. You will do yourself and your family a favor for opting for the dressing this year for the Holidays! Go ahead and give it a try, I dare you!

Ingredients For southern cornbread dressing

1large pone cornbread

1 stickbutter

1/2 cchopped celery

1 smonion

2eggs, beaten

2 cchicken stock

2 Tbspdried sage

salt and pepper to taste

1 cancream of chicken soup

How To Make southern cornbread dressing

1CORNBREAD: 2 Cups buttermilk cornmeal (I use White Lilly) 1/4 cup vegetable oil Buttermilk 2 eggs. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a HOT oiled iron skillet. Bake at 375 until golden brown.

2Mix all ingredients together and enough milk to make the mixture soupy. Pour into a HOT oiled iron skillet. Bake at 375 until golden brown.
