This one has more ingredients and and does contain Slipper Elm. It also contains Carob, so it is chocolaty flavored. It is also just as easy. This one makes 50 lozenges(pills) that you suck on to relieve a painful sore throat. Each herb has sore throat relieving properties while licorice root has the added benefit of being an anti-depressant.

Ingredients For sore throat lozenges

  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered slippery elm bark,
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered licorice root.
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered carob.
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered goldenseal
  • 2 tsp
    powdered echinacea
  • 5 1/2 Tbsp
    honey

How To Make sore throat lozenges

  • 1
    put all the powders in a small bowl and add the honey in the middle. mix to form a hard ball and divide that into 5 pieces then each of them into 5 pieces and them into half , roll each into a pea sized ball. 50 total balls

    keep in fridge until you need them then suck slowly on one to relieve a sore throat.
