1 lbsweet italian sausage

1 cchopped onion

1 cchopped celery

1 capple, pared and cored

1 tspsage

1 tspthyme

1 tsprosemary

2 tspsalt

1/2 cbutter, melted

21 ozplain croutons

13 3/4 ozchicken broth

1Cover nuts with water in saucepan, boil then simmer 15 min. Break in half and set aside. Fry sausage until brown and crumbly, drain fat, chop coarsely. Combine remaining ingredients, blend well. Chill while preparing a turkey for stuffing or put in greased casserole covered with foil. Cook last hour of turkey cooking.
