I gave my son a Panini maker for Christmas a few years ago and he makes these special sandwiches for us for our Sunday night soup and sandwich nights.

Ingredients For reuben sandwich

1 lbbag sauerkraut, drained

smbottle 1000 island dressing or homemade

1 lbsliced corned beef

3/4 lbswiss cheese, sliced

10 slicerye bread or dark rye bread

4 Tbspbutter, unsalted
How To Make reuben sandwich

1Combine drained sauerkraut and 1000 Island Dressing.

2Place a slice of Swiss Cheese on each of 5 slices of rye bread. Divide sauerkraut between the five sandwiches. Top with corned beef and then another slice of Swiss Cheese.

3Butter each side of the sandwich and then place in a panini maker to grill or grill in a skillet like you would a grilled cheese sandwiches are until golden and cheese is melted.
