Ingredients For portuguese gizzards and rice

  • 1 lb
    chicken gizzards
  • 1 md
    onion-chopped
  • 1
    stalk celery, chopped
  • 4-5
    chicken bouillon cubes
  • dried crushed red pepper - to taste
  • 1-1 1/2 c
    long grain rice (uncle
  • 1-2 tsp
    gravy master browning and seasoning liquid

How To Make portuguese gizzards and rice

  • 1
    Cook gizzards in a covered pan with water, diced onion, celery,bouillon, and red pepper. When gizzards are tender, removed them and chop. Return to pan and add rice (long grain) and gravy master. Cook until rice is tender.
