This has been passed down for many generations in my family. I have never had a Thanksgiving with anything but this. It was originaly from England. It has been changed some as food became ..... easier.

Ingredients For oyster stuffing

  • 2 box
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 8 oz
    canned boiled oysters, liquid and all
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    mushrooms, liquid and all
  • 1 lg
    potato, grated
  • 1 lg
    carrot, grated
  • 2 stick
    celery, diced
  • 1 sm
    onion, diced

How To Make oyster stuffing

  • 1
    Mix all in large bowl. Best if you use your hands to make sure its mixed well. For best results cook stuffed in a turkey. Or cook 45 min in baking dish covered at 350
