3 Tbspbutter

2 lgsweet (vidalia) onions, thinly sliced

2red onions, thinly sliced

2bermuda or spanish onions, thinly sliced

2leeks, washed and thinly sliced

1-1/2 cgrated havarti cheese
-
1 pkg6 oz. herbed allouette or boursin cheese, crumbled

1-1/2 cgrated gruyere cheese

3/4 cwhite wine

1Preheat oven to 350^. Butter a large baking dish. Layer onions in dish--1/3 of each kind. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Top with Havarti.

2Make another layer and top with the herbed cheese. Make another layer and top with gruyere. Dot top with butter. Pour wine over all. Bake 1 hour. Cover with foil if getting too dark.
