Ingredients For mushroom and barley bake

  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms sliced
  • 1 md
    onion diced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    better than bouillon roasted garlic chicken
  • 1/2 tsp
    each ground thyme and rosemary
  • 1 c
    instant barley

How To Make mushroom and barley bake

  • 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Add butter to Dutch oven. Saute the garlic, mushrooms, and onions with salt and pepper until the mushrooms have given up their moisture and onions are softened.

    Mix the water, bouillon, thyme and rosemary together Pour into the dutch oven. Add the barley. Stir then place a lid on the pan and place in the oven. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes

    Fluff with fork to serve.
