Ingredients For just a great stuffing

  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3 slice
    bacon, diced
  • 1 lg
    onion, diced
  • 1 lg
    carrot, peeled n finely chopped
  • 1 lg
    celery stalk, peeled n finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 1/8 c
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lg
    italian bread, cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 lg
    egg, beaten
  • salt n pepper to taste

    GATHER INGREDIENTS...TRUST ME IT MAKES IT EASIER HAVN ALL READY B4 COOKN :)

    MELT 1 TBLSPN OF BUTTER IN LARGE PAN N ADD DICED BACON N SAUTE TILL COOKED N CRISP. WITH A SLOTTED SPOON TRANSFER BACON TO LARGE BOWL LEAVN GREASE IN PAN.

    MELT REMAINN BUTTER ON MED/HIGH HEAT N ADD ONIONS CARROTS, CELERY, ROSEMARY N GARLIC. SAUTE UNTIL ONIONS R SOFT ADD CHOPPED PARSLEY N STIR TO COMBINE.

    POUR ONION MIXTURE INTO COOKED BACON IN LARGE BOWL. ADD CUBED BREAD N PARMESEAN N TOSS TO COAT. ADD ENOUGH BROTH TO MOISTEN. SEASON WITH SALT N PEPPER (1/4 TSP OF EACH)...MIX IN BEATEN EGG.

    SPOON BREAD STUFFING MIXTURE INTO AN 8" BAKING DISH (OR SAME)...COVER WITH FOIL N BAKE IN PREHEATED 350 OVEN FOR 30 MINUTES THEN REMOVE FOIL N BAKE FOR 15 MORE MINUTES...ENJOY :)
