I don't know where this recipe originated, but it has been handed down in my family for years. It can be served any time but is best with any baked poultry.

Ingredients For holiday cranberry relish

  • 1 pkg
    fresh cranberries,frozen
  • 2
    apples, cored but not peeled but sliced in pieces that will fit in a meat grinder
  • 2
    oranges,no need to peel or take out seeds. just slice the same as the apples.

    bananas
  • 1 c
    sugar

How To Make holiday cranberry relish

  • 1
    Rinse cranberries,apples,and oranges under cold running water. Prepare apples and oranges for grinding.I use the coarse setting on the meat grinder.

    Run everything through the grinder,including the peeled bananas. Make sure the orange juice gets mixed in as well.

    Pour in the sugar and mix well. Cover and let stand in the fridge overnite so the flavors will blend. Then enjoy.
