This is my Grandma's recipe. These magically disappear everywhere I have brought them. It has a "different" flavor than other baked beans recipes.

Ingredients For grandma's baked beans

  • 2 can
    (15 oz each) pork and beans
  • 1 can
    tomato paste (the small can)
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar
  • several slice
    uncooked bacon

How To Make grandma's baked beans

    Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2
    In an oven safe bowl, mix both cans pork and beans, tomato paste, and brown sugar. Stir until all ingredients are mixed well.

    Lay strips of uncooked bacon over the top of the baked beans.

    Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes, or until the bacon on the top is cooked. Grandma used to always say that you know when the beans are ready because the bacon on top is cooked.
