On the job, when we finish with the lunch trade. we cook things for our selfs or I will cook somthing for them. So I asked, what do you want me to cook for you. One girl said bologna. So I made this for them and they liked it. Maybe you will

Ingredients For fried coconut bologna

  • 4 slice
    1/4 lb each bologna
  • flour for dredging
  • 1/4 c
    coconut shredded
  • 1 tsp
    coconut extract
  • special egg wash (2eggs, 3 tbsp mayo, 3 tbsp honey)
  • mix well
  • bread crumbs or panko

How To Make fried coconut bologna

  • 1
    Mix the egg wash with the extract, & coconut. Place the bologna in the flour dredge well, place it in the special egg wash, press the bread crumbs in to the bologna firmly, bring your fryer oil up to 350 degrease. Drop fry the bologna to a golden brown. Enjoy I was making coconut fried chicken & had a lot of batter left over. I tried this recipe , & tested it on my employees. They said I was crazy, but they tried it. They said it was great & was looking for more. If you like Bologna, I think you will like this.
