When I was growing up, my mother went to a Bible class every Monday night at White's Ferry Road in West Monroe. I was responsible for the meal that night. I always made these deviled eggs to go with whatever Mama left to heat up.

Ingredients For deviled eggs

12hard boiled eggs

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/2 tspsalt

2 Tbspmayonnaise

1/4 tsplouisiana hot sauce

1 tspyellow mustard

1 Tbspdill pickle relish
How To Make deviled eggs

1Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and mash with a fork.

2Add all other ingredients except mayonnaise.

3Add the mayonnaise (may have to add more for desired consistency).

4Fill the egg whites with the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Chill until serving time.
