This was my grandmother's cornbread dressing recipe. It is a staple every single holiday. She used to make the chicken stock from scratch (as does my mother-in-law when making this). However, I'm going to try to make it soon with store bought to see if I can tell a dramatic difference.

Ingredients For cornbread dressing

1pan cooked cornbread

4 cchicken stock
-
1 bunchgreen onions, chopped

1 cancreamed corn
-
1small onion, chopped
-
3 Tbspbutter
-
4-5eggs
-
1/4 cparsley

salt & pepper, to taste
How To Make cornbread dressing

1In a large bowl, crumble cornbread finely. Pour stock over the cornbread.

2Saute green onions and onion in butter for 5 minutes until onions are clear. Pour into cornbread mixture.

3Add eggs, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well.

4Pour into large greased casserole dish.

5Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, until center is firm.
