4 cwater

1 cquick-cooking grits

1 tspsalt

1 stickbutter

1/2 lbsharp cheddar cheese, grated

2eggs

1/4 cparmesan cheese, grated

cornflakes, crushed - enough to top casserole
How To Make cheese grits with parmesan/cornflake topping

1Bring salted water to a boil and add grits - cook until thick.

2Add butter and grated cheese - cool. When cool enough, add lightly beaten eggs and mix well. Add mixture to a 9 x 9 inch greased casserole dish.

3Combine parmesan cheese and lightly crushed cornflakes together and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.

4Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with your favorite meat dish.
